PUBLIC HEARING - SUBJECT:DISSOLVE AND TERMINATE THE VILLAGE OF LAKEWOOD

The Board of Trustees will conduct a public hearing at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at the Busti-Lakewood Recreation Center, 9 West Summit Street, to answer questions and provide information regarding an elector initiated petition to DISSOLVE AND TERMINATE THE VILLAGE OF LAKEWOOD.

The Village Board has set August 25, 2010 for the referendum. Voting will be from 12 noon to 9 PM at the Busti-Lakewood Recreation Center.

Voter Registration

Anyone who lives in the village, but is not a registered voter and would like to register to vote in the August 25th referendum on the dissolution of the village, can get a registration application at the village hall until July 25th.

Planning Board Meeting

July 21 at 7:30 PM. The agenda will be for a Used Car Lot at 172 W. Fairmount Ave. and a 6 ft. fence at 297½ Shadyside Ave.
