2017 Yard Sale

Items for pick-up must be placed at the curb or road edge no later than Sunday evening prior to the scheduled collection date.

  • Keep metal items separate from trash & junk
  • No brush, leaves or lawn refuse
  • No refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners or any other appliance that contain freon
  • No computer screens
  • No tires or televisions
  • No propane tanks
  • No hazardous wastes
  • No paints or solvents
  • No recyclable materials
  • Engines must be drained of gasoline & oil
NOTE: Brush, leaves and lawn refuse may be disposed of on Packard Ave., across from the DPW garage. Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, televisions, propane tanks etc., may be disposed of at the South County Transfer Station in Falconer, for fees please call 665-6894.

Recycling Calendar

You may view the new recycling calendar that is effective January 2017.

PLEASE NOTE: Garbage and Single Stream Recycling will be picked up every Tuesday.

Single Stream - you no longer have to separate your paper materials and cardboard from your tin, glass and plastic. Simply place all acceptable items into any container.
