Official Seal Contest Announced

The Village Historical Committee & DFT Communications are having a contest to create an official seal for the Village of Lakewood.

Entry blanks containing contest rules are available in the Anthony C. Caprino Municipal Building, 20 W. Summit Ave., the Lakewood Library and DFT Communications, Village Center Plaza, Route 394, Lakewood.

The contest is being run from February 1st thru March 31st. The winner will receive a $300.00 Gift Card from DFT Communications.

Village of Lakewood History Museum has new hours

The museum will be open:
Thursdays 5-7 PM
Saturdays 10 AM - 12 Noon

Brush Dump Closed

The village brush and yard refuse site across from the DPW garage is closed for the winter.

NO PARKING Reminder

Please remember there is NO PARKING on village streets from November 1 thru April 1 between midnight and 7:00 AM.

DPW announces new brush & yard waste policy.

Due to the abuse of the brush dump by non-residents & contractors it is now under 24 hour surveillance. The main gate will be locked during non working hours. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 7:30am–4:00pm, and Saturdays 8am-12 noon. Residents will still be able to access the dump by using the side gate any time of day or night.
