Mr. Richard O. Hartley, former Village Trustee/Deputy Mayor made a generous donation to the Village of Lakewood to be used towards the construction of a new Beach House at Richard O. Hartley Park. Mr. Hartley, who died May 7, 1996 dedicated the new Beach House in memory and honor of his wife, Frances "Frankie" Hartley at a ceremony held June 25, 1994.
